Omotesando Architecture Tour
This neighborhood is the perfect introduction to modern Japanese architecture. On this tour you will see the works of several rewarded architects such as Tadao Ando, Kengo Kuma and Kenzo Tange. Plus, we'll duck into side streets to see how traditional life remains alive amongst third wave coffee shops and fashion boutiques. Evening tours are also available and provide different perspective as the neighborhood comes alive with lights.
Checking out the one of the Tokyo's most impressive landmarks Yoyogi Olympic stadium from the distance, we will also see the modern and unique fashion boutique architecture such as The Iceberg, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Sunny hills and Prada.
The tour starts from Meiji shrine entrance and visit some of Japan’s emerging architectural works between the big names. We will have a short break while walking and enjoy some conversation.

In front of a cafe “Mori no Terrace” located in a big open space where a big wooden Shinto gate of the Meiji Shrine (Meiji Jingu) stands. Meiji Shrine can be easily reached from JR Harajuku station after passing the Omotesando gate and getting out from the west exit.
This cafe is different to the one inside the Meiji Shrine, with very similar name. You will not go through any Shinto gates from JR Harajuku station to get here.
